Seems decent quality. Sort of a pain to assemble. The parts don't sit down in a good position to get screws started.Software is included to assemble. They've included washers the guidelines don't mention. I used mine where the chair mounts to the bracket. Hint: After receiving parts out of package, close it back up (right aspect up) and put it to use as a workbench to assemble the seat portion. Place the back, along with the container, bolt holes up, and hold armrest up while starting screws. When both armrests happen to be installed place the seat upside down on the box and then hang the back/arms from it to finish. Much easier than having pieces flopping around.

I bought this desk simply because a birthday present for my 12 year outdated daughter, it came right on time, the portions were perfect with no damages. The size was what I expected. calls for at least 4 hours to put together. The entire piece is very heavy, so asemble it where you want to place it. overall tidy look. the bookshelf is quite practical and fits more books than it seems too which is wonderful, the ony issue was that it took 4 time to assemble ( my husband and 12 year older assembled it). Ensure that you read assembly guidelines very carefuly. Overall great table, precisely what my daughter needed and predicted.

This desk is exquisite for the area and excellent for the purchase price we paid. It is a heavy MDF build with thin lumber veneers. The chocolate color pictured is very, very dark and nearer to an "espresso" color. The instructions are well thought out. The corresponding letters for the desk pieces were stamped on the unfinished edges of the parts. In the event that you look for them, they carry out correspond. I believe the only piece not labeled was the backing to the drawer/shelf side, but that piece was obvious as to where it went during assembly. It had been on sale, so after taxes it was around $107. With that being said, had this desk been more, I don't know if I could have purchased it if it had been more than $120 all-in. With all that said, I would purchase this desk again if I ever needed a replacement or addition!
