This desk is simply perfect for the space and excellent for the purchase price we paid. It is a hefty MDF build with thin timber veneers. The chocolate color pictured is quite, very dark and nearer to an "espresso" color. The guidance are well thought out. The corresponding letters for the table pieces had been stamped on the unfinished edges of the parts. If you look for them, they do correspond. I believe the only piece certainly not labeled was the backing to the drawer/shelf side, but that piece was apparent as to where it went during assembly. It had been on sale, so after taxes it was around $107. With that said, had this table been more, I have no idea if I would have purchased it if it had been a lot more than $120 all-in. With all that said, I'd purchase this desk again easily ever needed an upgraded or addition!

Very nice. My granddaughter genuinely loves this desk. My husband and her put it collectively. Step by step instructions very clear. Under 2 hours taking your time and effort with it. It is accurately what I was hoping for! I spent many time researching craft tables and experienced a set of things I wanted. I needed stable, usable drawers beneath the table; A aspect tray for pencils and pens that wasn’t cheap plastic; a sturdy, stable foundation, and adjustable height. This has all those things and more! I had help putting the table together and the two of us got it finished with no problems in about one hour. I love the metal part tray for the pencils. The pull out shelf that stays flat, whether or not desk is titled, is excellent. I love this desk. It is a great top quality. I highly recommend it.

I needed a desk when I then found out I was heading to start out working from home. I specifically wanted an L shaped table with a drawer and data file cabinet. I at first found this table on Amazon for approximately $250, but after further searching I came across the exact same desk here at Wayfair on sales for $50 less. It really is exactly what I wanted! It arrived the specific day as promised in excellent condition. The desk is quite sturdy and wasn't as hard to put together as a number of the other critiques stated, though it did have about 5 hours to do without any help. I recommend this desk for an individual looking for an economical L shaped desk for his or her home office.
